Curtis Auditorium

To mark the anniversary of organised Humanism in the North East we have organised, in liaison with Newcastle University’s Insights lecture programme, to bring a famous humanist to Newcastle: Dr Adam Rutherford, geneticist, author and broadcaster. His talk is entitled “A Brief History of Everyone Who Ever Lived”.

The lecture will be on 19th October, starting at 5.30 in the Curtis Auditorium, straight over the road from Haymarket Metro Station.  We have arranged for this to be followed by a social gathering and buffet meal in McKenna’s, a restaurant on the University site inside the Northern Stage building.  This meal will be subsidised by NEH but tickets for it must be purchased in advance at a cost of £10 per ticket.  Places will be limited and we do need to know the numbers well in advance so please buy your tickets early, using the form below.
