Campaigns and Projects

Taking a themed approach
As Humanists, our values include kindness, empathy, compassion, diversity, open-mindedness and equal rights for all. They provide a focus for our lives and a platform to act when we feel that we can make a difference.
Examples include our work in schools and prisons, and officiating as celebrants at weddings, funerals and naming ceremonies. We have a proud history of charitable giving.

In 2024 we resolved to look in depth into issues which are of particular concern here in the North East. Adopting a theme gives us the chance to understand a social challenge in much more detail and inform the actions we are inspired to take.
